    Booneville Woman Charged with Felony Fraud

    In late August, the Criminal Investigation Division of the Booneville Police Departmet begain investigation a woman for alleged unauthorized use of a debit card. This investigation led to the arrest of a Booneville woman and a felony fraud charge.

    Jenia Nicole Tackett, a 35 year old Booneville woman was allegedly using a debit card without authorization at multiple businesses, racking up over $1,000 in unauthorized charges on the card.

    According to Booneville police department, Tackett was arrested at a location on North College Street and charged with one felony count of using a debit card number with intent to defraud.

    Tackett's bond was set at $2,500.00 and the case will be presented to the Prentiss County grand jury.
