Man arrested for Sturgis Shooting

A Sturgis man has been arrested by Oktibbeha County Sheriff's Department for a shooting that involved three individuals. On Wednesday, deputies arrested Henry Lee Lowery on three counts of Aggravated Assault and one count of Possession of Firearm by a Felon.

The 65 year old man allegedly shot three individuals at a residence at 1239 Taylor Road. The injuries were non-life threatening and the victims were treated and released by emergency responders at the scene.

Lowery was taken to the Oktibbeha County Jail where he remains in the custody of the county jail awaiting an initial appearance in Oktibbeha County Justice Court. Bond has not yet been set.
