The Minnesota Twins have optioned Matt Wallner to Triple-A St. Paul ahead of Monday's game against the Houston Astros.
Wallner will move back to Triple-A while the Twins make room for Max Kepler (hamstring) on the active roster.
Wallner was effective in his limited opportunities, batting .368 with a 1.099 OPS in 25 plate appearances.
