Minden Trap Team MNTC Week #5
On April 13, 2024 the team completed week #5 of their 6 weeks of conference competition. The day was full of excitement with several of the Minden shoot- ers in shoot-offs and winning awards. Week #5 at the Mid Nebraska Trapshooting Conference had the Minden shooters competing against 331 other shooters (195 in the senior high division and 136 in the junior high divi- sion). The team shot well and brought home the follow- ing awards:

KEARNEY — Kearney High School received the Runner Up Class A 2023-2024 Nebraska State Colleges Multi-Activity Student Award for having the highest number of students who participate in multiple activities and/or athletics. KEARNEY – The Nebraska-Kearney softball team has moved up both of its home double headers this weekend at Patriot Park. UNK (17-24, 5-13), battling for a MIAA Tournament spot, will face Newman (18-28, 24-15) on Friday and #6 Central Oklahoma (37-7, 17-1) on Saturday. Both double headers will now go off at 12 and 2 p.m. On the original schedule, it was to be 1 and 3 p.m. both days.

Loper Football Wraps Spring Season with Spring Game Friday
KEARNEY – The Nebraska-Kearney football team wraps up its 2024 spring season with an annual intrasquad scrimmage this Friday night (April 19) at Ron & Carol Cope Stadium.
