MILWAUKEE — A 35-year-old man was shot and killed near 94th and Silver Spring in Milwaukee Thursday afternoon, according to officials.

According to a statement from Milwaukee police, the homicide happened around 2:30 p.m.

Milwaukee police said in an update that another victim, an 18-year-old man, arrived at a local hospital with non-fatal injuries.

Early Friday afternoon, the Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim of the shooting as Jonathan Vick, who lived in Dousman.

An 18-year-old man was arrested in connection to the deadly shooting. Officers seek unknown suspect(s).

Milwaukee Police are investigating a double shooting that occurred on Thursday, June 8, 2023, 2:30 p.m., on the 9400 block of W. Silver Spring Drive. The victim, a 35-year-old man, sustained fatal gunshot injuries. An additional victim, an 18-year-old man, arrived at a local hospital for treatment of non-fatal injuries.
