Milwaukee police responded to three homicides in just over five hours on Monday.
The first happened near 17th St. and Locust St. around 4:40 p.m. where police say a man who appeared to be in his 20s was shot and killed.
There have been no arrests in this shooting.
Milwaukee police then responded to a double shooting around 6:45 p.m. near 13th St. and Holt Ave. Police say a 28-year-old Milwaukee man was killed and a 27-year-old Milwaukee man was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Police arrested a 28-year-old man from Greenfield in connection with the shooting.
Around 9:45 p.m., police were called to Medford St. and Baldwin Ave. for another double shooting.
Police say a 45-year-old Milwaukee woman died and a 33-year-old Milwaukee woman was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
Police have not made any arrests in this shooting.
