MATT, THANK YOU. LET’S GET TO SOME BREAKING NEWS FROM OVERNIGHT. A DEADLY DOUBLE SHOOTING IN MILWAUKEE. ONE OF THREE HOMICIDE INVESTIGATORS WITHIN FIVE HOURS. POLICE SAY SOMEONE SHOT AND KILLED A 45 YEAR OLD WOMAN AROUND 945 NEAR MEDFORD AND BALDWIN. A 33 YEAR OLD WOMAN WHO WAS ALSO SHOT IS EXPECTED TO SURVIVE. POLICE ARE LOOKING FOR THE SHOOTER. MILWAUKEE POLICE SAY SOMEONE KILLED A 28 YEAR OLD MAN AND CRITICALLY INJURED A 27 YEAR OLD MAN RIGHT NEAR 13TH. AND HOLT AROUND 6:45 P.M. A 28 YEAR OLD GREENFIELD MAN IS NOW IN CUSTODY. AND EARLIER IN THE AFTERNOON AT ABOUT 440, POLICE SAY AN UNIDENTIFIED MAN WHO LOOKS TO BE IN HIS 20S WAS SHOT AND KILLED RIGHT NEAR 17TH AND LOCUST. POLICE STILL LOOKING FOR SUSPECTS IN THIS CASE. Milwaukee police are asking anyone with information to contact them.

Milwaukee police responded to three homicides in just over five hours on Monday.The first happened near 17th St. and Locust St. around 4:40 p.m. where police say a man who appeared to be in his 20s was shot and killed.There have been no arrests in this shooting.Milwaukee police then responded to a double shooting around 6:45 p.m. near 13th St. and Holt Ave. Police say a 28-year-old Milwaukee man was killed and a 27-year-old Milwaukee man was taken to the hospital in critical condition.Police arrested a 28-year-old man from Greenfield in connection with the shooting.Around 9:45 p.m., police were called to Medford St. and Baldwin Ave. for another double shooting.Police say a 45-year-old Milwaukee woman died and a 33-year-old Milwaukee woman was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.Police have not made any arrests in this shooting.Anyone with any information is asked to contact Milwaukee Police at (414) 935-7360, or to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at (414)224-Tips/ or P3 Tips.
