A man driving a U-Haul was possibly seen abducting a 10-year-old boy on Saturday morning, according to the Milwaukee Police Department.

The suspect approached the unknown child, struck him, and placed him in the U-Haul, police said. The incident took place shortly after 11 a.m. on the 3900 block of West Meinecke Avenue.

The U-Haul was then seen driving west on West Meinecke Avenue, according to police.

Police describe the suspect as a Hispanic man in his 30s, and about 5 feet, 2 inches tall or shorter. He was seen wearing a beige baseball hat, beige shirt, and beige shorts. The boy is described by police as African American.

Police said, "At this time, there is no missing report as the child is unknown," adding it is possible the child wasn't abducted.  "The investigation is ongoing," police said.
