Giannis recorded a 38-point triple-double, as he added 17 rebounds and 12 assists in the road victory, and can thank his brother for calming him during a frustrating moment in-game.
Thanasis Antetokounmpo was seen talking to a visibly-frustrated Giannis on the bench, before leaning over and hugging him and giving him words of encouragement in his ear.
Giannis went from visibly annoyed to calm as he returned to the floor.
While Thanasis doesn’t play a major role on the Bucks, and pales in comparison in terms of stardom to his brother, it’s clear he still plays an important role for Giannis as a member of the Bucks.
Sometimes words of encouragement from a family member can go further than advice from anybody else, and Wednesday night’s moment between the Antetokounmpo brothers was proof of just that.
