Give Brook Lopez of the Milwaukee Bucks a lot of credit. Not very many NBA players can reinvent themselves as he has.
Lopez could have easily gone extinct. Instead, he’s arguably having the best season of his career.
At one time, Lopez was a back-to-the-basket scorer. He led several Brooklyn Nets teams in scoring. Suddenly, the game changed – and Lopez did too.
Now, he’s one of the league’s most prominent 3-and-D big men.
With that said, Lopez can’t stave off aging forever. His decline could come in any given season. Eventually, the Bucks will have to replace him.
Could they do so by trading for Mitchell Robinson of the New York Knicks?
