Bob Hartley, CEO and president of the June Jam charity music festival, died in his sleep April 14. Lynn Fowler, executive vice president of the event, which will mark its 46th year June 15 at G&R Campground in Houston, said he was the last surviving member of its founding group. Mr. Hartley would have turned 69 on April 20.

Harrington, DE — As Harrington Raceway prepares for its third week of racing, bettors can hone in on a $4,438 superfecta carryover in the first race Monday (April 22). Multiple superfecta carryovers on the Wednesday (April 17) card sparked a $42,000 pool in the 14th race superfecta before the last race went uncovered, carrying over the 50-cent base bet to today’s card. If no one selects the top four finishers, the pool is carried over to the next superfecta eligible race.
