The first incident happened during the evening hours of March 4th, when Milford Police responded to a local business in the 200 block of NE Front Street. It was learned that a male subject had removed the tip jar from the store’s counter and fled with an unknown amount of money.

The second incident occurred the following day at roughly 4:30 p.m., in the 200 block of NE Front Street. The suspect stole the tip jar and fled with an unknown amount of money.

Further investigation led officers to identify two other businesses where similar incidents took place, but we’re told they declined prosecution. Officers were able to identify the suspect as 25-year-old Joshua Watson.
