Suspected drugs, firearm seized by state police investigators in search of Erie residence
Authorities said they seized significant quantities of suspected drugs from a west Erie residence during a search in late May as part of an ongoing drug investigation. Erie resident Tyshawn R. Shields, 37, is tentatively scheduled to appear in court on Monday for his preliminary hearing on charges including five felony counts of possession with intent to deliver and a felony count of possession of a firearm prohibited.

Erie Insurance Charity Challenge Raises Over $100,000 for Local Nonprofits
