Quest to reduce Coconut Rhinoceros Beetle issues in Hawaii continues
WAHIAWA, Hawaii (Island News) -- Reports are continuing regarding issues involving Coconut Rhinoceros Beetles in many parts of Hawaii. With evidence of holes in his neighborhood trees and beetles being found, Wahiawa resident Micah Benevitz told Island news, "They go for the sap, and unfortunately it goes for the heart of the palm which eventually kills it."
