Two-fer: Tuesday's MetroWest and Milford-area Fantastic Five high school athletes

There's something about a Tuesday. These F antastic Five MetroWest and Milford-area Fantastic Five athletes made the most of their opportunities .

Some claimed individual wins in service of team victories, while others piled up the points or left the yard.

Without further ado, Tuesday, April 23rd's MetroWest and Milford-area Fantastic Five high school athletes:

TARA BATTAGLINO, Wellesley girls lacrosse

She poured in seven goals for the Raiders in a 16-4 win over Brookline. Wellesley's Olivia Comella put away five goals, and Abby Beggans won seven draw controls for the Raiders (5-1).

SARAH DUMAS, Franklin girls track & field

The All-American won three events in the Panthers 85-51 victory over King Philip. She was first in the 400 hurdles, 100 hurdles and high jump and placed second in the long jump. Lily DeForge finished first in the shot put and discus, while Franklin's Maddie Bruno won the 400, Alex Batla was first in the two-mile and Liz Hopkins took first in the Javelin. The Panthers also won the 4x100 relay.

ABBY MAHR & ASHLEY HUANG, Westborough girls golf

They each shot a 30 to tie for the medalist honors at Green Hill in a 28-8 victory over Worcester for the Rangers (4-0).

HARRISON LANDRY, Natick boys volleyball

The setter distributed 45 assists with five kills in a 3-1 win over Newton North. Branch Barnes had 25 kills for Natick (6-1) in a 25-19, 25-21, 24-26, 25-18 victory.

MEGAN O'LEARY, Assabet softball

She was 4-for-4 with a grand slam and six RBIs for Assabet in a 16-6 win over Burncoat. Assabet's Mariah Sousa was 4-for-4 and stole three bases, while Mia Gonzalez and Alexis Ducheine each had three hits for Assabet (1-3).

BURNCOAT 15, Assabet 5: Andrew Talmo and Andrew Talcoff each had two hits for Assabet(1-5).

BLACKSTONE VALLEY 14, Keefe Tech 3 (5): Corey Magill was 3-for-4 with a triple, homer and three RBIs, Luke Charron was 2-for-3 with a triple, homer and two RBIs and Jack Marino homered and drove in three runs for the Beavers (7-1, 3-0 Colonial). BVT's Evan Pupka struck out five in two innings of hitless relief. Joey Secator singled in a run for Keefe Tech (1-5, 0-3).

LEOMINSTER 8, Algonquin 5: Tighe Clark drove in two for Algonquin (3-4, 1-2 Mid-Wach A), while Jackson Redfern singled and drove in a run and Kevin Crispo doubled.

Softball

TRI-COUNTY 9, Bristol Plymouth 2: She doubled and tripled among her four hits with three RBIs. Neila Schweitzer had three hits and two RBis, and Mackenzie Duffy contributed two hits and an RBI for Tri-County (3-1). Elle Marshall earned the win with eight strikeouts and allowed just three hits.

WACHUSETT 7, Hudson 4: Taylor Attaway (double, RBI), Liv Connolly, Lauren O'Malley (RBI), Livi Sousa (double, RBI) and Samantha Collette each had two hits for Hudson (4-2).

MEDWAY 3, Dedham 2: Allyson Fagan won her first start for the Mustangs with eight strikeouts. Medway's Priya Bedard doubled and tripled, scoring two runs.

Boys lacrosse

AMSA 9, Tyngsborough 8: Luc Masse collected six goals and one assist and Connor Hume made 12 saves, the final one coming with three seconds left for the Eagles (6-0). AMSA's Tavin Hirsh had one goal and two assists.

NASHOBA 11, Algonquin 10: Jack Gulachenski and Ryan Roman each had two goals and two assists for the Titans (4-3, 2-2 Mid-Wach A).

NATICK 11, Newton North 4: Alex Peck led the Redhawks (4-4) with a hat trick. Natick's Levi Gagnon, Donnie Gugliemuhcchi, Ray Gilkes and Josh London found the net twice each, and goalie Evan Hyman saved 15 shots.

WAYLAND 14, Bedford 4: Elliott Koopersmith put away six goals for the Warriors (3-2).

FRANKLIN 12, North Attleborough 6: Drew Hansen collected a hat trick with an assist for the Panthers (7-0). Franklin goalie Matt Corvi saved 17 shots. Eddie O'Brien and Ryan Grasso each had two goals and an assist for the Panthres.

Girls lacrosse

NORTHBRIDGE 12, Hopedale 9: Emma Gosselin and Shayla McPhee each netted hat tricks for the Blue Raiders (1-4, 1-4 Mid-Mass).

NIPMUC 20, Tantasqua 6: Jayden Lilburn had five goals and two assists and Liz Lange had four goals and four assists for the Warriors (5-2, 4-0 MMLL).

NASHOBA 17, Algonquin 14: Bella Roman fired in six goals, while Grace Chiota had five for the Titans (3-3, 1-2 Mid-Wach A).

GROTON-DUNSTABLE 12, Westborough 7: Kate Sams had five goals to lead te Rangers (7-2, 5-1 Mid-Wach B), while Lily Villaflor scored twice.

Boys volleyball

LINCOLN-SUDBURY 3, Bellingham 0: Ryan Heberlig started the match with five aces as he stayed on the line for the first 11 points of a 25-14, 26-16, 25-11 victory. He also contributed three kills. Kieran Fagan put down 10 kills with an ace for L-S (5-1). Warriors setter Timmy Kearney distributed 26 assists with three blocks and to kills.

WESTFIELD 3, Wayland 2: Senior setter Joey Burke distributed 54 assists with 13 digs, four kills and three blocks in a 24-26, 25-20, 25-27, 25-22, 15-12 loss. Wayland's Joe Kelly put down 18 kills with eight digs and four aces, while Finn Bell had a double-double with 16 kills, 10 digs, four blocks and two aces. Cooper Szeremeta had 11 kills for the Warriors (2-3).

KEEFE TECH 3, Leominster 2: John Loja had 22 assists and 13 digs in the 23-25, 25-16, 20-25, 25-20, 15-11. victory. Keefe Tech's C.J. Sok collected 10 digs, 13 kills and nine blocks, and Mateus Silva finished with 16 digs, 11 kills and 3 blocks for the Broncos (8-1).

Girls track & field

HOPKINTON 110, Ashland 28: Kiley Locke was first in the 100-meter hurdles and the high jump, while Loryn Canty won the shot put and the discus. Hopkinton's Abby Flanagan finished first in the two-mile, Elena Davis won the javelin and Alice Brambati placed first in the triple jump. She was also third in the 400 hurdles and 200.

LUNENBURG 86, Hudson 59: Rachel Korowski was first in the mile and 800 for the Hawks (1-1, 1-1 Mid-Wach C), while Savannah Gao was first in the javelin and discus.

Girls tennis

ALGONQUIN 5, Hopkinton 0: Sophie Kopstein and Riya Mahanta helped the Titans (4-1) ensure a sweep with a three-set win at No. 2 doubles. Hopkinton's Caitlyn Morgan and Crystal Wang won the first set 6-3 before the Algonquin pair rallied 6-4 and 10-6 in the third set tiebreak. Algonquin No. 3 singles player Siya Arde won a 6-4, 7-5 battle against Aryaa Dixit. At No. 1 singles, Emily Beachesne bested Avery Michaud 6-2, 6-2, whiel Siyona Bhagwat prevailed 6-2, 6-1 over Roma Tewari at No. 2. Algonquin's No. 1 doubles team of Claire Wallace and Becca White beat Evanya Mather and Aarvshi Kamra 6-4, 6-3.

HOPEDALE 4, AMSA 1: The Blue Raiders' strength at the top of their lineup carried them against the Eagles. Hopedale's Kate Freisma beat Saisha Kolluri 6-2, 6-2 at No. 1 singles. At No. 2 singles, Sidney Hall won 6-0, 6-3 against Rachel Chennankara, and Madison Buttonow bested Sameera Patnala 6-1, 6-1. Hopedale's top doubles pair Abigail Aldrich and Callie Costanza won 6-3, 6-4 against Ava Daly and Stella Damoulakis. AMSA's no. 2 doubles squad of Katina Gakis and Tiffany Stanley earned the Eagles a point with a  7-5, 2-6, 10-4 victory over Gabriella Rinehart and Emma Friesma.

HUDSON 3, Leominster 2: The Hawks' depth delivered the victory, as they swept further down the lineup. Sophie Charboneau started it off with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Eduarda Silva at No. 3 singles. Hudson No. 2 doubles team Sophia Bater and Taylor Coyne beat Maggi Leighton and Jessika Mann 6-1, 6-3. The Hawks No. 1 team of Lauren Sterling and Grace Garcia secured the win with a 6-4, 7-5 win over Adrianna Lattanzio and Natalie Brady.

DOVER-SHERBORN 3, Westwood 2: Leah Hills provided the winning point at No. 1 singles for the Raiders (4-1).
