Woman charged after shooting at Milford home

MILFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Milford police are investigating after a woman allegedly fired two gunshots during a domestic violence incident on Tuesday, according to police.

On Monday, police arrested Patricia Curiale, 50, for an alleged domestic violence incident at a home on West Main Street.

Police said they received a report from a victim who said they entered the bedroom at the home when they heard the sound of a “firearm racking.”

The victim told police Curiale allegedly pointed a gun at them and another person and yelled for them to get out of the bedroom. Police said the victims left the home and then called the authorities.

Curiale was taken into police custody and charged with reckless endangerment, first-degree threatening, and disorderly conduct. Curiale was given a $50,000 bond.

After Curiale attended court on Tuesday, she returned to the home and allegedly fired two gunshots at a man. Police said Curiale missed and no one was injured.

Officials said the gun was recovered at the scene, and Curiale was arrested. She remains in police custody.
