See first set of Michigan girls high school soccer rankings for 2023 season

Bloomfield Hills, Forest Hills Central, Williamston and Royal Oak Shrine wrapped up Michigan’s 2022 girls high school soccer season with state championship trophies, and if the first set of statewide rankings is any indication, the Black Hawks, Rangers, Hornets and Knights will be back in the title hunt in 2023.

The Michigan High School Soccer Coaches Association released its first set of prep soccer rankings, and Forest Hills Central, Williamston and Shrine all check in at No. 1 in their respective divisions, while Bloomfield Hills sits at No. 5 after graduating all-staters Drew Martin, Alice Spiegel, Ava Badallo and Esther Rosett.

Northville, which ended its 2022 season with a shootout loss to Bloomfield Hills in the state finals, currently holds the top spot in Division 1.
