A few lake effect snow showers are still making their way through Michiana this morning, but most of today should be drier and warmer. Clouds will last through the early morning, but plenty of sunshine returns later this morning. Temperatures are starting chilly in the 20s with wind chills around 10. Heading into the afternoon, sunshine will help us warm up into the upper 30's. The warmup continues over the next couple days with upper 40's tomorrow and mid 50's by Tuesday. Following today's sunshine, we should stay mainly dry for the first half of the week, but showers return Tuesday night with rain chances in the forecast through the end of the week. We're tracking rain with the potential for scattered thunderstorms Thursday, especially in the morning. The second half of the work week looks to be wet and warm with temperatures at and above normal.
