Man with 'Chaos' Middle Name Arrested After Miami-Dade Motel Heist

Miami-Dade County, FL - A man with the middle name "Chaos" was apprehended for allegedly perpetrating an armed robbery outside of a Miami-Dade motel on Monday.

Police say 22-year-old Felix Chaos Desir is facing charges of armed robbery with a deadly weapon following the incident at the MotelX on NW 27th Ave.

The victim, who rented a room at the motel, contacted authorities around noon to report an armed robbery.

According to the victim, he parked his vehicle in front of his motel room to unload his belongings when Desir approached him with a black semi-automatic firearm, demanding money.

The victim watched as Desir searched his pockets and took his wallet from his back right pocket.

After seizing the victim's possessions, Desir fled toward a blue Honda SUV.

In a retaliatory act, the victim entered his Jeep and deliberately crashed into Desir's vehicle in the motel parking lot.

Undeterred, Desir fled southbound on NW 27th Ave while being pursued by the victim and a witness in the Jeep.

The victim continued to ram Desir's vehicle in an attempt to force him to stop.

Eventually, Desir's car turned eastbound onto NW 69th Street, where the victim observed four unidentified Black males exiting the vehicle and fleeing the scene.

The victim kept driving until he encountered responding police officers.

Officers discovered Desir standing in his underwear after discarding his clothes under a trailer near a residence on NW 67th Street.

During their investigation, detectives learned that a female witness saw Desir undressing in her backyard and alerted her stepfather.

The stepfather found Desir holding a black semi-automatic shotgun and concealing several unidentified items, along with the victim's brown wallet containing identification cards, under the trailer.

Desir also had a face mask and another firearm.

Desir was arrested and taken to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, where he is being held without bond.

Law enforcement is actively seeking the three other suspects involved in Monday's robbery.

Individuals with any information regarding the robbery are encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
