Going to Florida Supercon 2023? Here's everything you need to know, including who can you meet there

Florida fans of "Star Wars," "Our Flags Means Death," "Chainsaw Man," and more can soon meet their favorite celebrities while cosplaying their favorite characters.

Florida Supercon 2023 is headed to Miami, providing the largest convention in the state for attendees to nerd out on their favorite shows, movies, comics, and video games.

What is Florida Supercon?

Florida Supercon is an annual three-day pop culture convention that celebrates comic books, animation, cartoons, anime, video games, cosplay, fantasy, sci-fi, pop culture, and all things geek. It is the largest event of its kind in South Florida.

Where is Florida Supercon 2023?

Florida Supercon takes place June 30 - July 2, 2023, at the Miami Beach Convention Center, 1901 Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach, FL 33139.

From Interstate North or South:

  • I-95. Take Exit 5 from I-195 E.
  • Merge onto FL-907.
  • Turn Left onto N Michigan Ave.
  • Turn Left onto Dade Blvd.
  • Turn right onto Convention Center Drive.
  • The Miami Beach Convention Center's main entrance is at 1901 Convention Center Drive.

From Miami International Airport:

  • Get on FL -112 in Hialeag from Miad Cir and Edit 2.
  • Follow FL–112 E and I-195 to FL-907 in Miami Beach.
  • Take Exit 5 from I-195 E. Continue on FL-907.
  • Drive to Convention Center Drive. The Miami Beach Convention Center's main entrance is at 1901 Convention Center Drive.

What time does Florida Supercon start?

Show Floor hours:

  • Friday: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Saturday: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Sunday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Programming hours:

  • Friday: Noon to 1 a.m.
  • Saturday: Noon to 1 a.m.
  • Sunday: Noon to 5 p.m.

Who needs a ticket? How much are tickets to Florida Supercon?

All attendees six years old and up need a ticket to enter Supercon. Kids ages six through 12 need to purchase a kids' ticket to enter. For those 13 and over, purchase of an adult ticket is required and must be accompanied by a parent and/or guardian.

How can I purchase photo-ops and/or autographs?

Both photo-ops and autograph pricing and the full schedule on their website as soon as it is available. Once available, attendees will be able to purchase them prior to Florida Supercon via a designated sales page.

Photo Ops will range in cost from approximately $30 to$100 or more, depending on how many guests are participating in the Photo Op. Prices, times, and guests are subject to change and do not include taxes or fees.

Autographs may range in cost from approximately $20 to $100+ per autograph. The guests may provide 8x10s for signing and will also autograph an item attendees present to them, such as a comic book, photograph, or other media/memorabilia.

Autograph guests reserve the right to limit how many items they will sign for you and what they will sign. It's up to their discretion at the time of the signing. Autograph pre-purchases are able to be purchased with a credit card. Autographs at the show are cash only and credit cards are not accepted.

Will there be accommodations for attendees with special physical or emotional needs?

Depending on what an attendee needs, the Supercon's ADA Assistance Program may be for them. Reedpop events provide ADA assistance to individuals who may have mobility, physical, vision, hearing, cognitive, psychological, invisible, or other types of disabilities.

For wheelchair/electric scooter rentals, officials ask that they contact their service partner Scootaround, Inc. at 888-441-7575 or by visiting their website to reserve in advance. Onsite rental may be available, depending on event schedules.
