Extra Police On Hand Along South Florida Beaches This Memorial Day Weekend

Expect a beefed up police presence in South Beach this Memorial Day Weekend. Miami Beach Commissioner Steven Meiner says they're working on the alpha-bravo deployment to make sure everything stays calm, cool and collected. There will also be parking restrictions and traffic mitigation, but no curfew is expected. Thousands of people will be on hand with the Hundai Air and Sea Show set for Saturday and Sunday. Ft. Lauderdale is hosting its annual Great American Beach Party, Las Olas Boulevard between A-1-A and Seabreeze Boulevard will be closed at five-thirty Saturday Morning until ten at night.
