PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Expect a nice streak of good weather as we make our way into the Easter weekend. For tonight lows will be the coldest of this cool spell with lows in the 40s tonight inland and near 50 at the coast. On Friday it will be sunny and dry with highs in the mid 70s. The warm up continues through the weekend with an uptick in the humidity. Highs Saturday will be in the 70s w/lows Saturday AM in the 40s/50s. On Easter Sunday we might have to deal with AM fog followed by mostly sunny skies. Lows will be in the upper 50s Sunday at (Sunrise: 6:32am) with highs in the upper 70s. Rain chances return to the forecast Tuesday night into Wednesday.
Panama City Beach police, Bay County issue 1,700 traffic citations so far in March
PANAMA CITY BEACH − Local law enforcement officials say strict traffic enforcement has helped curb crime so far this spring break season. Since the beginning of March, officers with the Panama City Beach Police Department have performed more than 2,100 traffic stops and issued approximately 1,400 citations. And Bay County sheriff's deputies have performed more than 1,000 stops and given about 300 citations during the same time.
