Woman Struck, Killed Walking on the Parkway in Woodbridge
WOODBRIDGE, NJ — A pickup truck struck and killed a Pennsylvania woman as she walked along the Garden State Parkway here in the early morning hours of Sunday, the New Jersey State Police said. Pronounced dead at the accident scene was 34-year-old Liliya Rosenblum of Newville, Pa., authorities said.CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR THE FREE TAPINTO.NET NEWSLETTER The initial investigation indicates Rosenblum was struck at 4:48 a.m. on April 14th walking along the Parkway’s southbound left lane near milepost 130.2 in Woodbridge, the State Police said on Monday. The pickup truck driver, whose identity was not released, dialed 911 for help, remained at the scene and cooperated with investigating troopers.
