NMSU baseball travels to WKU for final series of regular season
BOWLING GREEN, Kentucky – The Aggies are traveling to Kentucky to play conference foe Western Kentucky in final three game series of the 2024 regular season. Game one will start on May 16 at 2 p.m. MT with the second game of the series starting 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one. The Series finale will be played on Saturday, May 18 at noon MT.

ABC-7 First Alert: Rain passing through Las Cruces, quickly entering El Paso
EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- Today we will see a shift in our forecast. Adding some rain chances and stronger winds for your Thursday. We are tracking a storm system pushing in from the northwest. As a result rain chances today will fall between 10-30% in the afternoon to early evening hours. Rain chances are slim but do not rule out the chance for an isolated shower or thunderstorm in the El Paso area. Rain chances look strongest for areas north of Las Cruces.
Cars removed from large sinkhole in the front yard of a Las Cruces house
LAS CRUCES, New Mexico (KVIA) -- Klein towing company removed two cars from the large sinkhole that opened up in the front yard of a Las Cruces house earlier this month. ABC-7 was there to capture the removal of the two cars. The towing company had an entire crew of people out to help with the removal.
Shopping carts aren’t the problem
Everytime I drive past the construction project on the corner of Farney and El Paseo, just down from my house, I feel a little bit better about our city’s future. When completed, the Pedrena Apartments will provide 80 units for seniors, age 55 and older earning no more than 60 percent of the median income, about $30,000 a year. It is expected to be fully occupied by December, 2025, city officials said.
