Meridian Police Officers responded to Lake View Golf Course in Meridian off of Ten Mile Rd. on Saturday, May 27, to reports of an intoxicated male on the golf course.

Officers arrived to find 39-year-old Jesse Houdeshell punching a 15-year-old boy. Officers surrounded Houdeshell to keep him away from the teenager, who he battered several times prior to their arrival. Houdeshell was intoxicated and it is unclear why he was hitting the boy.

Houdeshell was arrested and charged with injury to a child.
