Boise boy dies after being struck by vehicle while riding his bike
BOISE, Idaho — This article originally appeared in the Idaho Press. A boy is dead after being struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle. On April 15 at approximately 7:54 p.m., 6-year-old James Chaffin was riding a bicycle when he was struck by a vehicle near East Gowen Road and East Grand Forest Drive in southeast Boise, according to a news release from the Ada County Coroner's Office. He was pronounced dead of blunt force head injuries at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center on Friday, the release said.
