Man stabbed after fight breaks out in Merced County

MERCED COUNTY, Calif. (FOX26) — A man is recovering after deputies say he was stabbed several times Saturday night in Merced County.

According to the Merced County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to the 10300 block of Hyde Street regarding a stabbing in Le Grand.

There, deputies say a man was stabbed several times after he tried to intervene in a fight that had broken out.

The sheriff’s office says the man, who was not identified, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
