The Merced County Fair returns Wednesday through Sunday

MERCED, Calif. (FOX26) — The Merced County Fair returns to the fairgrounds on Wednesday, June 7th through Sunday, June 11th.

The fair kicks off on Wednesday, June 7th with the tribute act, George Michael Reborn.

Then on Thursday, 90s rock band, Smash Mouth, takes the stage followed by county music great, Loanstar on Friday.

Saturday features a Prince tribute band, The Purple Madness, and Banda Machos will close out the fair on Sunday.

All outdoor theater shows are free with your paid fair admission.

All shows begin at 8:30 p.m.

Also happening in the grandstand, auto racing on Wednesday, go-kart racing on Friday, tractor pulls on Friday, destruction derby on Saturday, and Humpz & Hornz Gran Jaripeo on Sunday.

All grandstand shows begin at 7:00 p.m. and admission is $5, except for June 7th auto racing and June 8th go-kart racing, which are free with your paid fair admission. Children 5 years or younger can watch grandstand shows for free with a paid adult ticket.

There are also thrilling rides, and kiddie rides, plus fair food, games, and prizes at the carnival, as well as great food and drinks, agricultural and livestock, and more.
