MAYFIELD, Ohio — Progressive is moving ahead with its office consolidation plan and will officially list its former main headquarters in Mayfield for sale or lease. The insurance company announced in July that it would close its main headquarters on Wilson Mills Road, moving its headquarters to what it calls its second campus on North Commons Boulevard, still in Mayfield.

MENTOR, Ohio – Crossroads Health wants volunteers to set a new kite-flying record for Lake County at the second Soaring Hearts Saturday. The kite-flying event is from noon to 4 p.m., May 18, at Headlands Beach State Park in Mentor. The first event, in May 2022, set a 2,000-kite record for Lake County.
Euclid’s annual ‘Big Clean’ returns for 2024
The “Big Clean” city-wide cleanup day has come back for 2024 in Euclid. Starting on April 20, between 9 and 10 a.m. residents can enter Milton Drive via East 222nd Street to collect their cleanup supplies which include gloves, bags, and trash pickers along with gifts from the city and community partners, according to a news release.

Trial continued for owner of Willowick’s Shoregate Towers
LAKE COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - The owner of Shoregate Towers in Willowick was scheduled to go on trial in Willoughby Municipal Court Monday on 45 criminal charges regarding the state of the apartment complex and failure to comply with city ordinances; however, the trial was continued. Cleveland Kosher Food Pantry finds new home in South Euclid
The Cleveland Kosher Food Pantry purchased a new building at 4090 Mayfield Road in South Euclid. The nonprofit organization has operated out of a garage, two trailers and some sheds at Semach Sedek Shul at 2004 S. Green Road in South Euclid, for over 20 years, an arrangement it has outgrown, Executive Director Sarah Yaffe Alevsky told the Cleveland Jewish News on April 17.
