MEMPHIS, Tenn. - A woman has died following a fatal stabbing in Southeast Memphis, the Memphis Police Department (MPD) said.
Officers responded to a call about a wounding in the 4500 block of Sunnyslope Drive around 5:26 a.m. on April 8.
One woman was located on the scene suffering from at least one stab wound, MPD said.
The woman was taken to Regional One Hospital where she later died, according to Memphis Police.
According to officers, the woman knew the person that stabbed her.
