On Wednesday evening, the Memphis Grizzlies defeated the Houston Rockets 130-125 on their home floor in Tennessee.

All-Star point guard Ja Morant made his return to action after missing the last nine games.

That said, he came off the bench for the first time in his career.

In 24 minutes, the former Murray State star put up 17 points, four rebounds, five assists, two steals and one block.

He also had an incredible dunk that is going viral on social media

Morant has been known as one of the most exciting players in the league, but being able to do that after missing nine games in a row, makes the play even more impressive.

He was suspended eight games by the NBA and then was ruled out due to conditioning for Monday's 112-108 victory over the Dallas Mavericks.

In 54 games, he is averaging 26.9 points, 5.9 rebounds and 8.1 assists per contest.

The former second-overall pick has turned himself into one of the best players in the league and led the Grizzlies to the NBA Playoffs in each of the last two seasons.

Right now, they are the second seed in the Western Conference with a 45-27 record in 72 games.

They are on a four-game winning streak and 7-3 in their last ten games.

At home, the Grizzlies have been unbelievable, going 31-5 in the 36 games they have played in Memphis.

They will play their next game on Friday night when they host the Rockets for the second straight contest.
