The Dallcher American Legion Post 632 provided flags for each of the elementary classrooms at Melcher-Dallas according to Elementary Principal Jon Suntken. 

The Legion also purchased patriotic books for the 187 students. The presentations at the school took place Wednesday.

Suntken tells KNIA/KRLS News “The Dallcher Legion, donated flags for every classroom in the building for us to have and they also handed out some little flier type booklets discussing freedom, discussing the flag and the American Legion and honoring those who served.”

Suntken added it was a fantastic gesture and the school thanks all of them for their service.
