Friday has numerous showers and storms in the day’s forecast.
Some have already started developing in Atlantic waters, but more are expected throughout the day, NWS Melbourne reported.
As it has been all week, developing storms could produce winds up to 40-50mph, frequent lightning strikes and heavy downpours up to four inches.
A high rip risk and rough surf is located along the Volusia and northern Brevard County coasts.
Officials warn swimmers to stay away from the surf.
