First “Woofstock” to be celebration of mutts and music

COMANCHE CO. ( KFDX/KJTL ) — If you’re seeking to celebrate your furry friends, the Comanche County Pet Resource Foundation will hold its first-ever “Woofstock Festival .”

The celebration of mutts and music includes a pet costume parade, a pet play area, pet massages, pet photography and plenty of live music and vendors for dogs and their owners.

It all starts on Saturday, June 15, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Hitchin Post Park in Medicine Park, right outside the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge at 159 E Lake Dr in Medicine Park.
