COMANCHE CO., Okla. ( KFDX/KJTL ) — One man is dead, and another has been jailed after a fistfight at a Medicine Park bar.

At 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, officials with the Comanche County Sheriff’s Office, Medicine Park Police Department, and OSBI Crime Scene Unit responded to the Park Tavern in Medicine Park amid reports of a bar fight between two men.

According to Sheriff Kenny Stradley, the deceased man, who was reportedly beaten very badly, was transported to the medical examiner in Oklahoma City to determine the cause of death.

The other individual was transported to the county jail and now faces manslaughter charges.

Stradley added, however, that the charge could change once the District Attorney’s Office reviews the case.

According to Stradley, this is a tragic incident where one person lost their live.

No other injuries were reported, and the identities of the two men were not disclosed.
