Medicine Park Aquarium Debuts Two Baby Otters

May 31 was World Otter Day, and the Medicine Park Aquarium and Natural Sciences Center celebrated by debuting their new baby otters! The otters are named River and Creek and will make the aquarium in Medicine Park, Oklahoma, their home.

If you haven't explored the Medicine Park Aquarium and Natural Sciences Center then you are missing out! You should definitely add it to your summer travel list. It's a great place for adults and kids to explore. The aquarium has over 100 exhibits to see, both indoor and outdoor. They often have special activities going on, including kids camps and feeding shows.

But, on May 31, visitors had the special opportunity to meet two new additions to the aquarium! On World Otter Day, River and Creek made their debut at the aquarium.

Visitors got to see River and Creek splash around and play in their own little pool. From the looks of it, the two babies might need a few more swim lessons, but that didn't stop them from having a fun time!

Soon River and Creek will get their own pools and have regular visits at the aquarium!

How did the Medicine Park Aquarium get two baby otters??

You know, I was wondering this myself, and then I saw on the aquarium's Facebook page that River and Otter were actually rescued! Two little girls and their mom find the baby otters on the road and brought them to the aquarium. How sweet!
