Trump Receives Wrestling Championship Belt From Wrestler-Turned-Fox Host Tyrus: ‘You Are the People’s Champion’

Fox News co-host and professional wrestler Tyrus presented former President Donald Trump with his own wrestling championship belt on Wednesday during a special episode of Gutfeld!

“I can’t wait that one day I’ll be able to tell my grandchildren that the president of the United States stole my seat,” joked Tyrus at the end of the show. “Thank you for WrestleMania 4 and 5, by the way. Thank you very much. But if you’re going to sit in that chair, if you’re gonna do the Tyrus experience, you have to do it right because you are the people’s champion.”

Tyrus then pulled out a championship belt from underneath his seat before presenting it to the former president.

“Oh wow. I like that,” reacted Trump. “Now I’m really happy. That’s a real– oh, that’s a good one.”

“It’s the man who makes all the professional ones,” Tyrus replied.

Trump praised the belt again, declaring, “This is the real one. This is the real deal,” to which Tyrus mocked, “No, I’m gonna give a fake belt to the next president!”

After Trump thanked Tyrus again for the belt, the wrestler responded, “You are the people’s champion.”

Host Greg Gutfeld then joked, “You’re gonna have to wear that out on the golf course for safety reasons.”
