Lindsey Graham Calls ‘Bullshit’ On Kamala Harris’s ‘Border Wall’ Backing

Senator Lindsey Graham called “bullshit” on Vice President Kamala Harris’s backing for a southern border wall as Republicans continued to accuse the Democrat of flip-flopping on immigration as she attempts to revive a bipartisan agreement that would see a wall funded.

The deal, which collapsed earlier this year under pressure from former President Donald Trump, includes a provision for hundreds of millions of dollars in wall funding. The proposed legislation allocates $650 million for the wall—a far cry from the $18 billion Trump initially sought, but a substantial investment nonetheless.

Harris’s new stance marks a stark departure from her earlier opposition. As a California senator, she labeled the wall a “stupid waste of money” and vowed to block its funding. In her 2020 presidential campaign, she argued a border wall would not enhance national security.

However, in a move toward the political center, recent television ads for Harris’s campaign depict her as a tough-on-immigration leader, showcasing images of the border wall and branding her as a “border-state prosecutor.” The Trump campaign has seized on Harris’s apparent change of heart, attacking her for her role as the administration’s “border czar” and blaming her for a surge in illegal crossings.

Appearing on Tuesday night’s Hannity show on Fox News, Graham ripped into Harris’s record and told host Sean Hannity that he would help fund the building of the structure if she delivered a “real proposal.”

If Kamala Harris really wants to build a wall, you’ve had for years to build this wall – 70 days before election all of a sudden you want a wall. I’ll make an offer to the vice president. Send me over your wall proposal I’ll get you all the money you need if it’s a real proposal.

As the show closed, Graham circled round again to call “bullshit.”

Do you really believe she’s going to build a wall? That’s just bullshit. She’s had four years to build a wall and she’s done nothing. For the last four years they turned every Trump policy upside down that prevented illegal immigration and we’re been overrun with 10 million people. They’re are not going to do anything to fix America’s problems. If you’re looking for her to get this nation back on track, you’re looking to the wrong person. The truth lies in that record.

Their record is horrible, it’s terrible. Four years of Trump this was a safe country, a prosperous country and a safe world. Four years of Harris and Biden the world is on fire, inflation is through the roof and the border is broken and we’re risking another 9/11.
