Panther baseball takes first two at McPherson quad
The winds canceled softball action in Hays Tuesday, but the Panther baseball team, playing further east in McPherson, was able to open up the McPherson quad with a pair of wins. No. 9 Great Bend used a big sixth inning to drop Emporia 14-4, then took down sixth-ranked McPherson (4A) 3-1.
LHS Tennis in Most Challenging Tournament this Season at Buhler
The Liberal tennis boys have tested themselves this season. They’ve traveled to Olathe, Haysville, and now Buhler. Head coach David Short says the Buhler tournament was the most challenging competition of the season. Emmanuel Garcia and Parker Brown were solid in doubles going 2-2. Ryan Zhang won a match. Liberal plays at Emporia Tuesday.

Track and Field- The Bluebirds competed in the Canton-Galva CKTL at Goessel meet on Tuesday, April 9 where the girls came in 1st out of six teams and the boys came in 2nd out of six teams. They will next compete on Friday, April 19 at the Norwich Invitational. Marion.
