A man with autism who went missing from McKinney last week has been reunited with his family.
Police put out a call this week for help from the public to find 24-year-old Diego Garcia. He had gone to the store on Thursday, May 25 but did not return home.
Garcia was spotted at a golf course in Lancaster on Monday. There was another sighting on Wednesday at a gas station in Waxahachie.
Police say someone spotted him on Friday outside a convenience store in Corsicana. That person took a picture of him and sent it to detectives in McKinney to confirm his identity – they waited at the scene until Corsicana police arrived. Diego was returned to his family and they say he's o-k. His parents say the first thing he asked for was food from Whataburger, and they granted his request.
