According to ALEA, a single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 12:35 p.m. Monday, May 29, has claimed the life of a McIntosh man.

Zonnie H. Weaver, 64, was critically injured when the 2004 Yamaha motorcycle that he was operating left the roadway and struck a mailbox.

Weaver was transported to University Medical Hospital in Mobile, where on Tuesday, May 30, he succumbed to his injuries.

The crash occurred on Washington County 16, approximately two miles west of McIntosh, in Washington County.
