Two men have been arrested in connection to a high-speed chase Saturday that went through Stephens County and Habersham County.

According to a press release, a trooper from Toccoa Post 7 noticed a vehicle traveling at a speed of 94 mph in a 55 mph zone on SR 365 in Stephens County.  A traffic stop was attempted but the 2014 Black Porsche Panamera failed to yield.

The Porsche then made a U-turn and reached over 100 mph before two more troopers took over the chase.  The troopers chased the vehicle south on SR 365.  The driver of the Porsche then turned right onto SR 184/ Dicks Hill Parkway where troopers lost the contract with the vehicle due to the heavy resident area within Habersham County.

The driver was eventually stopped on SR 365 at Crane Mill by Habersham County deputies.

Officials have not yet released the names of the men.  The case is still under investigation.

Update @ 2300 Habersham Deputies stopped the vehicle on SR 365 at Crane Mill. We will release the names once we gather all the facts; there is nothing more to release.
