MELBER, Ky. (FOX 56) – A Missouri man who was wanted for violation of a protective order was taken into custody by Kentucky State Police.
KSP said they were notified about 43-year-old Bryan Ditto early Thursday and that he might be in the northern Graves County area. Shortly after 10 a.m., a trooper spotted Ditto’s vehicle along Highway 1820.

KSP said the vehicle failed to yield to the trooper and fled into a field inside McCracken County. Ditto proceeded to exit the vehicle and flee into a heavily wooded area, prompting troopers and police officers to convert on the area and begin searching acres of farmland and several miles of wooded creek beds.
Around 4:30 p.m., troopers were told Ditto was spotted near a residence on Highway 1820. Once officers arrived at the scene, Ditto proceeded to flee again. After a brief chase, he was apprehended and taken into custody without further incident.
Ditto was charged with:
- Fleeing and evading police (motor vehicle)
- Fleeing and evading police (on foot)
- Criminal mischief first-degree
- Receiving stolen property (vehicle)
- Possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine)
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
Ditto was booked into the McCracken County Detention Center.
