New charges for wanted Paducah man after traffic stop
A traffic stop in Paducah nabbed a wanted man, who will now face additional drug charges. Just after 1 p.m. on Wednesday, a McCracken County Sheriff's detective spotted a man riding a motorcycle on Brown Street and the license plate was not displayed properly. The driver, 43-year-old Steven Brown of Paducah, did not have a motorcycle license and the bike in question had not been registered.

Paducah man accused of driving unregistered motorcycle without license
MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (KFVS) - A man is accused of driving an unregistered motorcycle without a license while he was supposed to be on house arrest. Steven M. Brown, 43, of Paducah, was arrested on charges of improper display of registration plate, no motorcycle license, no registration plates, trafficking in methamphetamine, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Paducah, McCracken County Schools honored for health efforts
781 schools across the U.S. were named America’s Healthiest Schools by the nonprofit Alliance for a Healthier Generation, including several in western Kentucky. According to the organization’s website, the recognition program celebrates schools for implementing policies and practices to promote health and well-being. Schools are recognized if they “exemplify best practices” in up to nine health topic areas related to physical, mental, and social-emotional health and well-being. The health topic areas include: strengthening social-emotional health and learning, cultivating staff well-being, increasing family and community engagement, improving nutrition and food access, implementing local school wellness policy, bolstering physical education and activity, enriching health education, promoting tobacco-free schools, and supporting school health services.

Paducah Man Charged With Drug Trafficking
On Monday, September 25, 2023, just after 5:00PM, detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office arranged to purchase a quantity of Crystal Methamphetamine from 35-year-old Anthony J. McIntosh. McIntosh directed detectives to 2501 Kentucky Avenue in Paducah. Detectives located McIntosh on the parking lot and took him into custody. During the arrest detectives located the Methamphetamine that McIntosh had agreed to sell inside his jacket pocket.
