The cost of gas is going to continue to take big bites out of the debit card when motorists stop to refuel. According to AAA, crude oil prices remain above $100 per barrel as volatility in the Middle East continues to bottleneck oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz. The national average for gas is up to $4.47 per gallon for regular this week. The high mark for gas prices was on May 21 when the national average rose to $4.56.
