Christmas events set for Thanksgiving weekend
Two Christmas events are scheduled during the Thanksgiving weekend in Williamson and Matewan. The Williamson Events Committee will host its Hometown Christmas and Merry Little Market on Nov. 25 beginning at 10 a.m. with a pancake breakfast with Santa at 3 Guys Pizza and a one mile run. Vendors open their booths at 11 a.m. and also at that time the new Dashing Through the Streets event will begin.
