Martin County - Monday June 5, 2023: Beachgoers in Martin County found a brick of cocaine washed ashore over the weekend. The Martin County Sheriff's Office was called in to retrieve it.
The cocaine was inside a red radioactive disposal bag tagged with the word chappal which means "suck it" in Spanish.
According to MCSO "reports of drugs washing ashore has increased slightly."
