Marshalltown library patrons fight to have two conservative publications put on the shelves
MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa — A Marshalltown man is on a quest to get the city library to carry two conservative publications. The library says they are not appropriate. "It's a public library, not a private library. And that's the way the board is treating it -- as a private library,” library patron John Worden said.

(Anita, IA) – At the Crestwood Hills golf course in Anita, multiple local girls got their ticket to the state tournament. When America Zaragoza’s family moved from Elgin, IL to Marshalltown, she never thought she would grow to love the small town. Going from a population of almost 150,000 to less than 40,000 took a lot of getting used to for the eleven-year-old. “I struggled a little bit.
