CHRISTUS, Mission Marshall unveils remote food locker

    By Robbie Heriman,

MARSHALL, Texas ( KETK ) – CHRISTUS Good Shepherd and Mission Marshall unveiled their newest technology to fight against food insecurity in East Texas on Thursday morning, a remote food locker.

Report shows a drop in drug overdose deaths in Kentucky but governor says the fight is far from over

According to CHRISTUS, people in need of food are able to fill out a form and place an order online, and receive a code and pickup time. CHRISTUS said that the locker will be an especially useful tool for after-hours or weekend orders.

“You answer all the questions online, in the privacy of your home and your car so you can come get your food privately. So we are excited for the folks who may have been hesitant to come in, that this can provide an alternate way for them.” Misty Scott, Mission Marshall director, said.
