Marion Area Chamber Foundation announces 2022/2023 Leadership Marion! graduates

Leadership Marion!, the Marion Area Chamber Foundation’s leadership development program, announced its 2022/2023 graduates. The following individuals graduated from Leadership Marion! on May 19 during an event at the Tri-Rivers Career Center:

The 2023 Class selected two projects: HeART of Marion and Inspire Marion. HeART of Marion will consist of a group of local volunteers and artists who will identify key locations throughout the city in need of beautification.

Inspire Marion will hold annual events, and donate to a different beneficiary organization every year. The fundraising efforts will be new entertainment-based events showcasing the community of Marion and offering not only funding to organizations, but also additional community interaction and fun.

Leadership Marion! is a nine-month program consisting of one-day sessions. The program emphasizes these overall components: local history, educational issues, governmental structures, social service needs and economic development. Visit marionareachamber.org/leadership.htm.
