Marion County Development Commission has released its annual Top 10 Under 40 list, recognizing some of the best young professionals living and working in Marion County, and one of our own has been selected for 2022.

Andrew Schneider is the Pella News and Sports Director for 92.1 KRLS radio, and was mentioned among this year’s honorees. Schneider is thankful to all of those who have been willing to share their stories with him for the past nine years and those who nominated him for the award.

“I’m not able to do what I do without the amazing people I interact with daily, weekly, or monthly,” he says. “I’m grateful to have been able to share some incredible stories during my time and appreciate all of the support I’ve received from my team at the radio station and from the Pella community as a whole.”

Schneider started with KRLS Radio during Tulip Time in 2014, and continues to host Let’s Talk Pella daily, and provides play-by-play for Pella and Pella Christian athletics. He’s also the co-host of live Severe Weather Action Team coverage.
